Last week , the Kingston Fire Department hosted two training sessions focused on Lithium Ion Battery emergencies. The training was conducted by Ready 2 Respond. The KFD recently purchased specialized equipment to help mitigate these emergencies. The training was also attended by members of the Kingston Streets, Trees and Parks Department as well as representatives from the Duxbury, Pembroke , Plymouth and Plympton Fire Departments.
